Pre-Announcement to Awesomeness

Hello World,

How goes the weekend so far? We are officially in the home stretch before the month of festivities begins. As such, we have decided to take a cue from Jon Stewart when he pre-announced the announcement of his Rally to Restore Sanity. We're not doing anything political, but what we are planning is going to be AWESOME.

As of yet, all we can really say is that it may or may not involve lots of colors amongst other things. Over the course of next week, we will update our facebook status with clues as to what it is. Who ever can guess what not-so mischievous shenanigans we are planning will receive some cool goodies from us!!!!

2010 Promo Video 1

Hello World,
We posted this a while ago, but I 'm not sure how or why it got redrafted.
In case you were wondering about all the fun that you could be having at this year's Unity Month Celebration, We decided to remind you of all the cool things that happened in previous years. It's okay to be a little jealous that you didn't get to see the dragon dance, but if you want to see many things way cooler than that, you'll just have to stay tuned. In the meantime, check out Promo Video 1.

Second General Body Meeting

Hey Beautiful Peeps,

We are constantly working on ways to make this Unity Month more amazing than any one before it. In order to do this, we need your help. We're having another general body meeting where you can hear firsthand what we're planning and tell us what you think. We're looking for opinions, critiques, and most especially, volunteers. If you would like to get interested in helping out in any way, then feel free to stop by. The general body meeting is open to everyone. We look forward to seeing you there.
Peace, Love, Many Blessings,
-Tola

Belle and the Dragon

Anyone who has ever met the power parody duo Belle and the Dragon, knows that their personalities are as larger than life and as hilarious as their music. Between Taylor Swift lyrics reimagined for the Harry Potter fan in all of us and appropriately themed video accompaniment, college juniors Katie Green and Kearstin Sale may have just stumbled onto a way to make English class more bearable. If you've got a minute and you're in need of a witty laugh, Check out Belle and the Dragon. You'll be glad you did.
P.S. Word on the street is that they might coming out with more stuff soon so stay tuned.

Welcome!

With October already under way, it's just under a month for Unity Month!

We will soon be updating the Unity Month Calendar that will include most of the events that are to be a part of Unity Month this year. Traditional favorites Cultural Beats and Unity Ball are back to be BIGGER and BETTER this year. We hope everyone in the Emory community is as excited as we are.

An interest-session for all those interested in working with/for Unity Month is being planned. Date/Place are TBA.

Keep visiting www.unitymonth.com for regular updates.
